The BCGPA has two distinct membership types: associate and voting.
Associate
An associate membership entitles an individual or farm entity to representation on issues affecting producers on local, provincial and federal levels. Associate membership also allows for producers to be eligible to purchase a FarmerID card from the BC Agriculture Council.

All grain and oilseed producers who contribute to the BC Grain Development Council Levy are automatically associate members of the BC Grain Producers Association. Alternatively, a membership can be applied for through the Fort St John office. Upon acceptance and a fee of $150, an associate membership will be given.
Voting
A voting membership enables a member to vote on motions and resolutions brought forward at the Association’s Annual General meeting. This type of membership can be purchased at the current year’s AGM for a nominal fee.
